Spring is when the property market really starts to come to life. And, as the weather improves and gardens begin to bloom again, a little effort outside can go a long way.

After a long, wet winter, now is the perfect time to get your garden looking its best. For many buyers, outside space is just as important as the house itself, so first impressions really count.

While sellers often focus on the interior, a tidy and well-presented garden can make a big difference to how a property is viewed. Simple jobs like cutting back borders, clearing pathways, highlighting original features and smartening up garden buildings can instantly make a property feel more inviting and help buyers see its full potential.

Although we can’t help with the gardening, we’d be delighted to help with everything else if you’re thinking of selling this spring.

If you would like some friendly advice or an up-to-date valuation, please do get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.
