Whilst the adjacent Common has public access, it is not open to vehicles, so remains a very quiet location; the occasional llama being walked.
The land consists of 3 paddocks, one adjacent to the house and barn, the others nearby and accessed over Common land.
The modern barn is a good quality, steel framed and enclosed building with a stone base, water and electricity are connected. Currently used for livestock and storage, the building offers great scope for internal stabling close to the house.
A second, small traditional barn (partly tin clad) acts as a field shelter, but has potential for further development, subject to the usual consents.

A wide range of outdoor activities are easily accessible within the area. There is a leisure centre in Abergavenny, as well as access to Ruby, Cricket, Tennis, Golf and Football clubs. Theatre and cinema also available in the principal towns and Abergavenny.
