Columbine Cottage

Believed to originate from before the 1700's, this classic period cottage has been lovingly refurbished to create an immaculate and contemporary home. Extended in the mid 1980's, this cottage offers a very comfortable living environment with many period features.
Two generous double bedrooms share a modern, walk-in shower room. The study has scope to provide a third, or occasional, bedroom, with the option to create a shower room within the utility room below.
A spacious entrance lobby opens to the fitted kitchen with central island. The kitchen was reconfigured and newly installed some five years ago, and provides modern fittings within a period frame. An external door opens to the West-facing patio and lawned garden, with a modern summerhouse for alfresco enjoyment.

Cottage Continued

The vaulted living room focuses on a feature fireplace inset with a wood-burning stove. This double aspect room is naturally light.
Steps lead from the kitchen down to the useful utility room, with rear door, plenty of storage and a WC.
Above the utility room is a study/hobby room, with scope for an occasional/third bedroom.

The Outside

Approached off a ''no through' road (leading to the Church), there is plenty of off-road parking on the gravelled drive.
A mature, hedged boundary surrounds most of the garden, with the cottage central to the plot.
A more private lawned garden lies West of the cottage, with mature boundaries and herbaceous borders.
A patio area leads from the kitchen to the summerhouse and provides excellent outdoor entertaining space.
