Glenshee

This delightful cottage has been extended over time to provide a very comfortable home.
A country-style kitchen with light oak cupboards offers plenty of storage and benefits from an integrated dishwasher, electric oven and microwave, and an oil-fired Rayburn. There is also a breakfast bar, perfect for casual dining and space for a fridge-freezer. A stand-alone unit provides gas (bottled) hob facilities and can be stored when not in use.
There is a good-sized, separate utility room, which offers further storage and space and plumbing for a washing machine and a tumble dryer, with a useful larder cupboard, there is also a handy boot room to the front.
A formal dining room is situated off the kitchen and is complemented by attractive parquet flooring and a Victorian-style fireplace. There is potential to knock through to create an open plan, kitchen/dining family room, subject to any necessary consents.

The comfortable sitting room benefits from a triple aspect, which makes this a lovely, light space. There is also a wood-burner set within an attractive stone fireplace and patio doors enable direct access to the garden. A separate study provides a further flexible space and could be also used as a hobby room, children's play room, etc.
Stairs lead up from the entrance hall, off which there is a useful downstairs shower room/WC, to the first floor where there are 3, good-sized double bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath with a shower over. The main bedroom benefits from a double aspect and all bedrooms have built-in wardrobes/storage.

The Outside

The property is approached off a quiet, rural lane, from which it is set well back, via double five-bar gates leading to an ample parking area and the double car port.
There is a good, brick-built workshop situated adjacent to the car port to the side of the property, which has potential for a variety of uses, subject to any necessary consents.
Generous, established gardens surround the property, which is planted with a variety of mature trees, shrubs and flowering plants, yet still offers plenty of scope for keen gardeners, and there is a secluded patio terrace to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The fenced pasture paddocks are located to the rear of the property and a range of further outbuildings provide for useful storage or field shelters for livestock.
A timber stable block comprising 4 stables, a tack room and a feed store is situated around a good, concrete yard and there is also a 20m x 40m post and rail fenced outdoor arena with sand and rubber surface.
