Insurance Claim

This property suffered a manmade water ingress incident to the basement kitchen in autumn 2019, emanating from a burst Welsh Water main in the adjacent Worcester Road. Protracted negotiations lead to acknowledgement of liability by the water company, repair of the main and a claim for the complete refurbishment of the basement kitchen. This involved installation of a new kitchen and a new water proof tanking and twin pump system (with battery backup) to mitigate any future flood risk. The leak and reparation have now been finalised.
