There are daily home checks to provide for the residents' well-being, safety and security. The property enjoys a beautiful country setting, within the curtilage of a period listed county house and can enjoy the use of ample communal grounds. The aim is for residents to enjoy life to the full with as much privacy as individuals want, but with a community on their doorstep. Well behaved pets will be welcomed (under licence), but will need to be managed for the wellbeing of other residents.

The village of Dymock has a village store and garage, community pub and cricket club. The nearby market towns of Ledbury and Newent offer a good range of amenities to satisfy most domestic requirements, including supermarkets, a good variety of independent shops, good butchers, main post office's and café's. There are doctor's surgery's and pharmacies in both towns, both surgeries serving HAH. There is a cottage hospital in Ledbury with a main A&E hospital in Gloucester. A regular bus service runs from Dymock to Ledbury and Gloucester (which has a main station); Ledbury-based taxi service(s) available. Ledbury provides a variety of additional facilities, including three supermarkets a selection of good pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and a local Theatre.
Many fine walks are available within the locality and in the popular Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, both within easy driving distance. There are a variety of social clubs close by in Ledbury and Newent, as well as a well-known golf course at Dymock. Nearby, the Three Choirs Vineyard has a good restaurant, offers tours and wine tasting events.
From Ledbury: Head south towards Dymock on the B4216 for 4 miles in total. After passing through the small Greenway crossroads, continue a further ¾ mile and the entrance to Hill Ash House will be found on your right-hand-side, as denoted by the prominent signage Proceed along the drive to the main house, park on the left of the house in the bespoke spaces provided.
