RecreationalThe area offers a wide range of outdoor sports and activities, with the Malvern Hills and Wye Valley within easy access. There is the Annual Marcle Steam Rally and Ledbury itself is renowned for its annual Poetry Festival. In addition, there are also a variety of local and traditional events held in the region throughout the year. The Three Counties Showground at Malvern hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year. Both Hellens, a local historical house, and Eastnor Castle are open to the public.
EquestrianThe region is renowned for its strong equestrian industry. Kings Equestrian Centre (Bromyard) and Hartpury College are within easy driving distances and both host to a series of year-round competitions. Annual horse trials also take place locally at Homme House (<1 mile).
DirectionsFrom Ledbury take the A449 towards Ross-On-Wye and pass through the village of Much Marcle. Proceed for about 11/2 miles and at the small crossroads, take the right turn signposted to Lyne Down. Follow this lane to the top of the hill and at the T junction turn right, the entrance to Broadfields will then be the first entrance on the right hand side.
